Ospreys From The Office

Working from the home office has it’s advantages but people often report that it can take great self-discipline to avoid the distractions. Usually those distractions come in the form of social media, day time TV (who hasn’t sneaked a peak at Bargain Hunt every now and then?) or all too frequent visits to the kettle or the fridge. However, in the last week or so we’ve been experiencing a new and exciting distraction. Our office overlooks the Dornoch Firth, and across towards the hills of Sutherland, which is a very scenic distraction in itself. A recent addition to this distraction has been several ospreys fishing on the turning tides. We seem to be right under their flight path from the Firth to their nests in the surrounding woodlands. It makes for a great, ecology-related distraction that could almost count as work!
